Horse back riding Costa Rica! Even if it is your first time in the saddle, our horses will make you feel like an accomplished rider. Riders with experience will appreciate how happy, fit and responsive our horses are. Jungle Spa Adventure

Our tour will take you through the stunning pristine primary rain forest and incredible vistas. Surrounded by amazing flora and fauna, you will arrive at a beautiful natural spring in the heart of the jungle. Here enjoy the natural volcanic spa mud that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. This tour is perfect for first timers and experienced riders alike, with two guides you all get what you are looking for. A perfect combination of riding, nature exploration, relaxation and fun. Jungle Hacienda Adventure, New for 2011

If you want all the jungle fun of the previous tour, but dont feel like a mud bath, you will love the Jungle Hacienda Adventure. Our tour will take you through the stunning pristine primary and secondary rain forest and incredible vistas, here in the real Costa Rica. Surrounded by amazing flora and fauna, arrive at Hacienda La Quina. Owned by the same family since 1830, see a working farm that is proud of it roots and leaders in ecological farming. Stop by for a refreshing juice at the springs before meandering through the forests towards home. A perfect combination of riding, nature, education and fun. A completely unique experience that won't leave you feeling sore.

The Best of Both Worlds

A beautiful tour combining the beauty of the forested mountains, open farmland and the adventure of riding on the beach. Amazing ocean views, wide vistas and fun trails through stunning farmland, spot monkey, deer and scarlet mascaws before descending to the stunning Pacific coast.$150 person full day including lunch or $90 for 3.5 hours including fresh fruit salad and drinks. This is recommended for people with a little more riding experience and used to riding for longer hours in the saddle. Times depend on the low tide.

The Tropical Beach Ride

Nothing compares to riding a horse along the deserted tropical pacific coast watching the sunset on the horizon. Drift along side the lapping water and enjoy the sea breezes. Ride early in the morning and spot the flocks of scarlet macaws that make their home in the surrounding almond trees. Perfect for first time riders or more experienced. Unforgettable. 2.5 hours $65 per person including fresh fruit and drinks. Times depend on the low tide.

El Pueblo

Follow the forest back roads with wide safe tracks to reveal stunning vistas, and spectacular views of the river. Discover the local village of Montalimar, and visit the beautiful butterfly garden and farm of Johnny Quiros. After checking out the old Church and Bull ring, ride back to La Quina alongside the pristine Rio Turrabalita. An amazing, unforgettable ride on responsive and fit horses, from $110 per person for 4.5 hours including a typical Costa Rican lunch. Tours run at 8.30am Monday to Saturday.

Honeymoon Rainforest Spa

Imagine just you and your loved one riding our beautiful horses through the stunning rain forest of La Quina with just your guide for company. Arrive at the secret waterfall to a glass of bubbly and a tropical fruit salad. Our guide will wait with the horses to allow the two of you privacy to luxuriate in the famous volcanic spa mud and spring fed pools, emerge refreshed and feeling incredible. Whether it is your first, or second honeymoon; having your own private spa in the middle of the rain forest, really is a once in a life time experience! $150 per person for 2.5 hours. An overnight two day back country and beach adventure

Imagine packing up and heading out on a two day overnight horseback adventure. Pass through secluded villages, and experience the real Costa Rica way off the tourist trail. Meander along stunning rivers and stop at the local cantina to experience their unique cuisine and Tico hospitality. Arrive after a full day of riding to the little coastal town of Esterillos Este. Staying over night at a wonderful little beach front hotel, sit with a chilled glass of wine and watch the sunset. Set off early the next morning to ride for the day on the deserted central pacific beach. Feel the freedom of galloping your horse along the waters edge, with the tropic breeze in your face. Stopping for a wonderful lunch, you can rest and swing in a hammock under the palm trees whilst we prepare your meal. Strip off your saddle and take your horse into the ocean for the ultimate bareback experience. This tour is for experienced riders only.

Wednesday´s fun day!

To keep the horses being as wonderfully safe and responsive as they are, we like to make Wednesdays a fun day for them, we take them on new trails with jumping, galloping and of course playing lots of Parelli games too. This helps keep the horses mentally engaged and stops them turning into nose to tail machines. If you are an experienced rider, willing to go with the flow to make it all about the horses, and would like to join us on our fun days, be sure to give us a call.
